Yep, I teach too. In addition to running the two companies (see E-commerce & Consulting), I am also the adjunct professor of E-business at Silberman College of Business – Fairleigh Dickinson University. I currently teach two classes during the spring semester each year.
ENTR2300 (E-Business for Entrepreneurs) is an undergraduate course that examines the development of the Internet and how digital technology is affecting the world of the small business entrepreneur. The course explores what opportunities and challenges the Internet offers to start-up companies. The focus of the class is based on four axes: technology, management, social and legal implications.
ENTR3101 (Small Business Management) is an undergraduate course that highlights the importance of small businesses in the United States economy. There are currently twenty-three million small businesses in this country employing more than fifty percent of the private workforce. These small businesses generate more than half of the nation’s gross domestic product. Students investigate how prospective small business owners identify and evaluate opportunities.
Finally, there is just one more thing I want to tell you about myself. I am fortunate enough to have gained a reputation which allows me to speak in front of a wide array of audiences regarding a multitude of topics. Some of the speaking engagements have focused attention on:
Self Promotion in a Web 2.0 World
What Twitter Means for Small Business
Make Money Blogging
Google AdWords as an Online Marketing Strategy
Easy Steps to Creating a Blog
Well, that’s it. Thank you for stepping through my little life story. I hope you have enjoyed it. Now go ahead and enjoy my Lifestream.
